I was born in the city of Manchester, England, on a stormy Saturday in the autumn of 1985. This makes me 22 years in physical age, though my mental age varies.
I am a Virgo, often true in trait but not always... I am mercurial, I am a dove and a flame-breathing lynx; I can seem quiet - I am not shy. My trust is rationed to a precious few. I practice sarcasm and cynicism, but also sincerity and loyalty. I am opinionated. I fight - fiercely, and love - fiercely. I distance myself from the norm... I would prefer a surreal reality to the existing one. I love films in general. My favourites are based in worlds more attractive or ugly than ours, in worlds of the past and the future. I like music that is symphonic, electronic - classical, computerised, melodial, dark.
My hair is dyed black, and my eyes are blue grey... Goth is my aesthetic - Victoriana, fetish, cyber, punk - but all fashion holds my fascination. I like shoes, but am most often found in boots. I am tattooed times three and pierced times eight. I try not to be a cliche. I love makeup, from lipstick and mascara to prosthetic and faux-blood. I like to be both behind and before the camera; I love photography, as I love art, though I cannot paint or draw. My medium would be pen and paper. I'm romantic. I am a girly girl who likes boy things - cars and guns and gore, and a junkie for horror, science fiction and fantasy. I am a bookworm; fiction and non. I crave knowledge of things that are, and things that are not.
I don't understand apathy; how people can not have dreams or passions, and their lives seem so monotonous and fading... I do not despise conformity but I don't subscribe. I wish spiders were not seen as abhorrent. I respect reptiles and cats. I loathe stupidity and ignorance. I love history, but couldn't exist there, for technology is my mistress. I'm useless at maths... I'm not necessarily religious - I have an abstract spirituality, but religion interests me.
I've travelled, but not extensively - there are still many places I'd like to see. I wish everything to be diverse and beautiful. I feel as though the universe slows to a crawl... I want to sprint ahead.
