Here are the results of my photo shoot with Yvette Bessels earlier this month. I'm pretty proud of these as I was very tired on the day and our makeup artist cancelled so Yvette and I had to conjure something up ourselves. We were going for a kind of sci-fi/anime mash-up, I think this'll please a few people I know...
It's mostly stuff from my normal wardrobe put together so it's all high street/charity shop from over the years. The shrug in the first outfit is from Psylo. Boots are my everyday boots! 2nd outfit - The leather outer skirt, Yvette brought along (she made it), belt and gloves by Plastik Wrap and Swear boots. :)
I really like these. You've got a really strong look through the set of pictures.
The first two and number 6 are my favorites, but for different reasons.
The first one seems to have the most story behind it. The second I love, but I do have a weakness for quirky close-ups. You've a very interestingly engaging expression in this one. I think that the sixth keeps you and the outfit as the point of focus very nicely with the very clean background.
Thanks so much :D We must've taken the second one a bunch of times, I felt really awkward with my hand up to my face like that, but we managed to catch a halfway decent expression finally!
XD She replied to the casting call 3 days before the shoot; we had to choose between her and another MUA. Then Yvette got a message from her the night before saying 'is it tomorrow?!' She thought it was the week after. I guess because it was the 1st April, and she replied in late March, she thought 'oh April's not 'til next week?' lol.
Thank you :D I'm glad I suit the action gear 'cause it's a variation on my usual style... it's nice to see it comes off well! I felt pretty comfortable posing in it, anyway. XD

You look knock out, literally, especially in the plain set one of you in black, it's amazing.
I retain that action gear makes you looks flatly fantastical.
