Oh and:

It's slightly unsettling that I saw a combination eye doctor/dental surgery today. :X

Actually also, this is so random but I just realized I had stuff to ask you :P You are a Collectormania-goer, if I remember correctly? XD And well, I was *thinking* of maybe going to Collectormania 8. Only it's quite far to go for me, and I've never been before, and I'd probably be going alone because my friend is mean. :P

I was just wondering if it's worth going for just one day [probably the Saturday] if I go down early, or maybe two days? I definitely can't get the Friday off work. How is it price-wise? I'll have just been to another con two weeks before so that's why I'm sketchy about it as well :P I wouldn't want to try and meet everyone of course, just hopefully a few choice people. So just... if you have any general info or tips, would be much appreciated :D

Heya- well auto price guide wise, consider everyone at £15, but people like Nick Brendon are usually £20, if you go to the C8 website and then to the MSPG website, and then to their pre-order C8 bit, generally assume they stick £10 on top of C8's base auto price and you should be able to roughly work out most of the prices :)

Are you going to Collectormania GMex in Manchester by the way?

If you go down for one day, def go early (if you let me know what guests you are after I can give you a rough time estimate), two would probs be better, you just don't feel like you're rushing so much that way, also they haven't confirmed the dates each guest is appearing yet for some obscure reason :(

As for tips - definately come and see me :D

Thanks for the info, it helps a lot ^^ I think I'm just worried about the queueing and stuff because everyone else will know where they're going/what they're doing :P

Not so many guests I'm after atm, which is why I'm hoping I can wing it for just one day XD Probably Nick Brendon, Adam West, Julie Newmar, Nick Stahl, Andy Hallett, Adam Busch, Kelly Donovan, Julie Benz.

Most likely going to Gmex [if only for Ray Park :P], it's just down the road from me! ;D

Well I'll definately be seeing Nick Stahl, Andy Hallett and Julie Benz, and possibly Nick again if I can afford it if you want to meet up to que for them.

I can find out the nearest door numbers at the centre to the event off a friend on Monday (shes at the Fellowship Festival at the moment), and let you know which should help with taxis etc if you're getting dropped off, oh and usually they lump the same show guests together, so like SW, ST, Buffy, Angel etc.

I don't know how you're getting there but I'm staying at a hotel right near the train station so I can always come and get you if you're feeling very lost, although to get to the centre from the TS as long as you keep walking straight along the same road for about 15-20 mins you should find it ok.

I haven't had the 'game plan' discussion with my friend yet (the one where we work out who we're seeing when etc, and what time we'll get there to que) so I'm not sure what would be a sensible time to get to the centre to start quing for virtual tickets yet, I don't really have a gauge on how popular Adam West might be so I would check the Collectormania website on that one if I were you.

It'd probably be by train. I can't stand the coach for that long, especially not by myself, even if the train is more expensive.

I have to check my finances first and foremost, as I'll be broke for a little while after the other con - I don't even know if I can afford it for such a short visit. O.o Plus I'm aware that I mostly want to go *just* for the two Nicks' autographs, and my subconscious is bleeping *insane insane insane* because of that :P I'd sell my soul for Nick Stahl's auto [if I could remember where I put it, that is XD] I have a bad feeling about this...:P

Haha ^^

Pity you have work on the Friday as my friend that I'm rooming with would be getting the coach from Leeds that day :(

Train probably WAY easier though and quicker and more comfortable?

You can economise these visits though, sometimes I bring a packed lunch for the first day and some bottles of juice, saves me one days lunch money and snack money, easily £15 saved so that might be an option if you're just down for the day?
